What is the Fraxel Laser?

The Fraxel Dual laser is one of the most tried and true, reliable workhorse lasers in all of dermatology. It is a fractionated, non-ablative laser, meaning that it doesn’t break the skin in a visible way. It offers exceptional and predictable results for some of the most common and aesthetically bothersome conditions, including brown spots, texture and wrinkles, scars (acne, surgical, etc), and visible pores. Because fractionated lasers deliver energy to a fraction of the skin, numerous areas of the skin are undamaged. These untreated areas aid in the healing process and are able to minimize downtime.
