Dr. Evan Rieder is one of only three American physicians who hold dual board certifications in both dermatology and psychiatry. He graduated from Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in both psychiatry and dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Rieder is renowned for his expertise in cosmetic dermatology and his deep understanding of the impact of aesthetics on quality of life. With over a decade of experience, he is also skilled in skin care, general and surgical dermatology, and the diagnosis and treatment of hair and nail disorders.
Dr. Rieder has dedicated a substantial portion of his career to the education of medical students, dermatology and psychiatry trainees, and his peers across the medical professions. He has published over 50 articles in the peer reviewed medical literature, travels around the country to lecture his colleagues, and has edited two definitive textbooks in cosmetic dermatology and the confluence of aesthetics and psychiatry.
